How to reach the practice

Calls are answered by the accountant, not by a reception desk. If the line is busy it is because he is with someone, and a message gets a call back the same day.

Telephone
972-232-7501 Monday to Friday during Central Time business hours. During filing season the quickest route is to say what it concerns when you leave a message. Outside the United States, dial +1 972 232 7501.
WhatsApp
972-232-7501 The same number. Easier across time zones, and the way most of our clients outside the country prefer to reach us. Messages only. Please do not attach identity documents here.
Email
temizcpa@temizcpa.com Good for a question, a description of your situation, or arranging a time to talk. Not for documents — see the portal below.
Secure portal
protectedxchange.com/temizcpa Where returns, statements and identity documents are exchanged, in both directions. Existing clients already have access; new clients are set up at the point there is something to send.
Fax
214-593-1314 Still occasionally required by the IRS and by lenders. Not a voice line.
Office
2100 Lakeside Blvd, Ste 160
Richardson, TX 75082
Visitors are welcome by appointment. In practice most clients never come, and the work is no different for it.

Please do not send identity documents by ordinary email. Passports, Social Security cards, driver's licenses and bank statements should travel through the secure portal, not an inbox. This holds for any firm you deal with, not only this one — an accountant who invites passport scans by email is telling you something about how the rest of the work is handled.

What the first conversation is

It is half an hour, it costs nothing, and it is an assessment in both directions. You find out where you stand; we find out whether this is work we can do properly.

What it covers: what you are actually required to file, whether anything has been missed, what it would cost to put right, and whether you need a CPA at all. Roughly one conversation in five ends with us saying a volume preparer would serve you better and cheaper. That is a legitimate outcome, not a failed sales call.

What it is not: a pitch, a pressure to decide, or a disguised intake form. Nothing is charged and no engagement exists until you have a written, fixed fee in front of you and have accepted it.

What to have ready

None of this is required to call. It simply makes the half hour worth more.

When you will hear back

If you are weighing several firms, two checks take about three minutes and are worth more than any page like this one: the CPA license at CPAverify.org, and the IRS Acceptance Agent list. Apply them to us and to everyone else you are considering.

The last step

Talking early costs nothing. Leaving it late does.

A conversation before the year closes can change what you pay in April. Held in January, the same conversation is only a diagnosis.

If a report was missed the position is clearer still: the voluntary disclosure programs can reduce penalties substantially and sometimes remove them altogether. The single condition is coming forward before the IRS contacts you. The moment an examination opens, that door closes.

In both cases the deciding factor is the same one: timing.

Free, about half an hour, and nothing follows from it — if your situation is not a fit for us, we will say that plainly too.
